Santiago Torres focuses his practice in the area of civil, mercantile, and family law litigation, as well as appeals and amparo claims in these areas. He has participated in a number of matters requiring the interpretation and application of foreign law in Mexican courts, such as the enforcement of foreign judgments, as well as the enforcement of Mexican judgment overseas.

In his practice, Santiago has litigated matters in the construction, real estate, glass, steel, mining, food & beverage, ranching, maquiladora, and transportation industries, to name a few. He has unique experience with litigation originating from natural disasters, accidents, or causes that are especially difficult to trace to any individual act or person. He also has particular experience with family law issues, especially in the area of probate and testamentary succession.
